Immigration, Obstruction, Redaction (2018-2020)

It is June 2018. President Trump has just initiated a series of tariffs against many countries for unfair trade practices, most significantly China. The Chinese retaliate, and a trade war begins. Trump meets with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un hoping to convince Kim to denuclearize. Robert Mueller has started his investigation of Russian interference in our 2016 presidential election and into Trump’s involvement. And on our border with Mexico, the Department of Homeland Security reports that during April and May 2018, there were 1,995 migrant children separated from their parents who were arrested for crossing into the US illegally. It is Donald Trump’s second year in office.
